The Birth of a Revival
It was October 2004. Posters of a said “revival” of a certain youth organization were plastered all around, thus drawing many young people to the grounds of the Jesus is Lord Church in Malolos.
It was an event that started it all—in October 2004, a revival of the KKB Ministry in Malolos.

A Perspective
KKB Malolos Revived has been experiencing God’s unfailing faithfulness for almost half a decade.

November 2004 – The very first Youth Sunday in JIL Malolos. With the theme, COOL SA KKB, this Sunday served as the launching of the new batch of KKB Malolos. This was integrated with one of JIL Malolos’ general gathering services.

2005 – The second Youth Sunday with the theme, United @ 2: Keeping the Fire Burning. Theme verse: Psalm 133.

November 25, 2007 – Youth Sunday 3. With the theme: e.g. Model Youth, Breakthrough Generation. Theme verse: 1 Timothy 4:12. Guest Speaker: Ptr. Renato “Bobot” Bernardo, JIL Church Director for Education and teacher/professor at the Jesus Is Lord Colleges Foundation. This Youth Sunday marked a great change in the way Youth Sunday is done. It happened for the first time in the afternoon and as an event on its own.

January 25, 2009 – The most publicized Youth Sunday to date. With the theme: BLACK & WHITE, Romans 12:1-2, this Youth Sunday upgraded the term “Youth Sunday” to a higher level. The Guest Speaker was no less than the national chairman of the KKB Ministry and CIBAC Partylist Representative Congressman Emmanuel Joel J. Villanueva. It was the very first Youth Sunday to have a concert-type production as its program.

February 7, 2010 – KKB Malolos shifts to the fifth gear! Quinta: J. C. “Let your shine upon men that they may see your deeds and praise your Father in heaven (Matt.5:16).” Half a decade of God’s extravagant work in the ministry, this has really created a great impact in the lives of different generations who attended and participated in the spectacular event. With guest panelists Bro. Danny Fajardo and Ms. Jo Villanueva together with key speaker, Pastor Nick Dionisio, the Lord has really not failed to fill each heart with His empowerment and great encouragement.

Today, KKB Malolos continues to be one of the most dynamic youth organizations in the City of Malolos. The always-fresh, try-to-always-do-something-new, and surpass what has already been reached makes the ministry a strong youth arm that God uses for the expansion of His Kingdom. Fueled with the passion for God and for country, KKB Malolos lives up to the name of being a branch of the JC-directed Kristiyanong Kabataan Para Sa Bayan Movement.
